I haven’t done this much, but here are some stories about which I have little to say, but you’ll find them interesting.

  • Mark Schlabach is showing Penn State some love, ranking the Nittany Lions at #9 in his [way too early] 2009 Preseason Rankings.
  • Despite the last two performances, Joe Lunardi still lists Penn State as tourney hopefulls (the #7 last team out) in his Bracketology.
  • Continuing on that theme, both ESPN and Sports Illustrated‘s Bubble Watches list Penn State as on the outside looking in.
  • Tom Lemming and MaxPreps are player-hating on Penn State’s recruiting class, ranking it as #25 in the nation.
  • Talor Battle’s 18, 5 and 6 aren’t enough to be a finalist for the Bob Cousy award, given to the nation’s top PG.  Look at the other finalist’s stats, and laugh.
  • Penn State is a top choice for 2010 athlete Chad Hagan, teammate of committed linebacker Mike Hull, per Nittany Network.

That’s it for now, until later, Let’s Go State.
