Allow Me to Introduce Myself

Some people often say that the first step to overcoming an addiction is to admit you have a problem.  Well folks, I may have an addiction (and I clearly have no problem admitting it) but I never want to overcome it.

My name is Kevin, and I am a Penn State football addict.

I have been writing about Penn State football on a few different locations over the past few years, starting out on my own personal blog and expanding to sites such as SportsColumn.com, Bleacher Report, Yardbarker, and Nittanydelphia.  I was born and raised in a home that would place a small cardboard Joe Paterno on top of the Christmas tree.  My uncle made my father and another uncle upset when he scheduled his wedding on the same day Penn State would play Miami.  I was born on a day that Penn State beat NC State on the road.  When I attended my first Penn State football game, the visiting Cincinnati Bearcats were sent home with an 81-0 loss.

I may not remember some significant dates in my personal life, but I could on for days about the time I say Penn State beat Ohio State by a 63-14 margin.  You see, I love Penn State football and I am glad to join this wonderful community of Penn State fans to discuss that passion with others.

You should also know that I am a big fan of the Philadelphia sports teams.  I have a large passion for PSU football, and my love for the Philadelphia Phillies is just as passionate.  From time to time I may bring up a Philly sports topic to the table in addition to my PSU commentary.

I hope that I can live up to your standards and hope that you will leave feedback in the form of comments.

By the way, there are only 130 days until kickoff.
