Penn State Countdown: 78

Down by 7 to the Fighting Irish in the first stadium wide White Out, Penn State needed a spark and they needed one fast.
That moment came with just over a minute left in the first quarter. Instead of kicking the ball out of bounds on fourth down, the Irish chose to punt the ball into the hands of Derrick Williams. A decision Derrick Williams made them pay dearly with an electrifying punt return.
The 78-yard punt return was selected as the Pontiac Game Changing Performance of Week Two earning 59% of the vote. Penn State’s 31-10 demolition of Notre Dame also marked the fourth highest audience ever involving a Big Ten school on ESPN as more than 3.31 million tuned in.
And for those who wonder what Penn State brings to the Big Ten? Penn State currently owns 4 of the top 4 and 7 of the top 10 highest rated Big Ten games on ESPN.
1) Penn State – Michigan State 2005 (5.40 rating)
2) Penn State – Ohio State 2005 (4.91 rating)
3) Penn State – Indiana 1994 (4.70 rating)
4) Penn State – Michigan State 1995 (4.10 rating)
