24-23 Never Forget

24-23. We are officially 2 weeks away from the start of the 2009 campaign and this team has a chance at something special once again. Students are streaming back into Happy Valley and everyone is officially fired up.

And when the Hawkeyes walk into the proverbial hell that is the White House on September 26, fans and players should only need to remember 24-23. The sickening look of joy from those Hawkeye fans should only serve to add fuel to the fire when we are running up the score on a team whose uniform can’t be distinguished from that of the Pittsburgh Steelers by anyone outside of Iowa.

Go State! CRUSH Iowa!

thats ok we already have 11 of those big ten championships....im sure the hawkeyes will be intimidated in beaver stadium considering how great penn state has been against kirk ferentz ....1-7....

Actually won the Outback bowl which was played Jan 1, 2009.

I guess my experiences with PSU fans has been limited to the best and brightest up to this point. You're bringing the average down.

Is there a companion clip for USC floating around somewhere? Or you only remember the close losses in conference road games?

Well, considering Iowa is the only scheduled team for 2009, it would only make sense to be fired up about the Hawkeyes no? Or should we be spending our time eagerly anticipating any and all potential bowl game matchups, a problem the Hawkeyes probably won't need to bother with in 2009?
