NCIS and The Biggest Loser beats out the Orange Bowl

Submitted by Charlie on January 6, 2010 – View Comments

Preliminary overnight ratings for the Orange Bowl stands at 6.6. That’s absolutely atrocious for a BCS bowl pitting 2 BCS members and puts them dead last once again amongst BCS games watched by the country. And that’s the good news. The bad news is that it only marginally improved 0.2 rating points from last year’s record BCS low set (you guessed it) by the Orange Bowl. Congratulations to the Iowa Hawkeyes for their victory, but for the Orange Bowl, you reap what you sow. I’m sure your Nielsen track record will do wonders for you during the next advertising cycle. Advertisers who pay millions sure would love promoting their products to a marginal audience that is more eager to watch the Biggest Loser and NCIS.
