I Know, There are Wal-Marts in Central PA

But I had to pass along this tidbit, from FriendsoftheProgram:

Last night, a victorious and Gatorade drenched Nick Saban lifted the BCS Trophy high above the well-manicured turf at the Rose Bowl amid throngs of media, players, and fans.  This weekend, the trophy will make its way to Tuscaloosa so that the whole of Bama Nation can view the spoils of victory.  Only a place of honor and distinction would do for such a display.  A place of time honored and revered history among the Crimson Tide faithful…amid $5 DVD bins and the entirety of the Dickies worksuit collection at the local Wal-Mart.

I thought Wal-Mart was more of an Arkansas thing, but I guess when you live in a trailer park in Alabama, Wal-Mart is as close to luxury as it gets.  That said, I equally love and hate Wal-Mart.  I love the fact that I can do all my shopping at once, but I hate the fact that I go in to buy some razor blades and end up walking out having with a couple DVDs, all my groceries for the week, a coffee mug, and a pair of jeans, and not, of course, the razor blades.

But FotP has some seriously great pictures–they’re exactly what you’d expect–and I urge you to head on over there to get a look at some of the, um, colorful figures who showed up to celebrate Bama’s title victory. Here’s one, to whet your appetite:
