Teen Wolf's Tyler Posey heads to Jane the Virgin

"Jane the Virgin" Season 3 will return on April 24 on The CW.

Tyler Posey is set to bid goodbye to his long-running supernatural series "Teen Wolf". These days, Posey is all grown-up and leading the charge as half-man, half-werewolf Scott McCall in hit show Teen Wolf.

Posey will play someone from Jane's past.

"Teen Wolf" star Tyler Posey has been cast in a recurring role on The CW series "Jane the Virgin", Variety has learned. Aside from Tyler being a part of Jane's past, exact details of his character have yet to be revealed, but the cast shared the next best thing. One was Rafael (Justin Baldoni) and the other was the late Michael (Brett Dier).

We, for one, love that he seems committed with sticking with TV, given that this is where so numerous great stories are and it often affords you opportunities to try and take on some different parts in a way you don't often get to in movies. It should give Posey a chance to show off a completely new side, and on a show with a devoted fan following, no less. Posey, who has spent the past five years as the titular hero on MTV's Teen Wolf, will make his first appearance in the Jane the Virgin Season 3 finale as "someone from Jane's past". We couldn't be happier to see all the stars getting along and we can't help but assume that these good vibes are very telling of what's to come.

As for the first however, the narrator said, "The first was".

Tyler Posey is trading in the supernatural world of Beacon Hills for the sunny skies and attractive beaches of Miami!
