Since the film is scheduled to release on 26th May 2017, Sachin Tendulkar began his film promotion schedule as expected. Earlier yesterday, Sachin Tendulkar spoke to CNN News18 and said that the movie had everything in it, not only on the highs of his career but also the lows. When he gets out, we are upset. He was watching the match and biting his nails while seeing what's happening. To watch him get involved and cheer for me was so unreal for me. I was looking at him, smiling and was amazed to see his involvement in the game. "When the first British wicket fell, (after a really long time through a run out), the moment the ball hit the wickets, Sachin was out of his seat and shouted "Outtt"." . While he was at it, he revealed his favourite Sachin moment. It's etched in my memory.

Sachin recently shared some pictures on his Twitter handle with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to talk about his film and as no one saw it coming, even Modi ji seem excited that he quote-tweeted, "Had a very good meeting with Sachin Tendulkar". Lagaan, the sports drama, released in 2001 and along with the other stars, Sachin Tendulkar was also invited for the premiere of the film.
