Sonam, Deepika and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are scheduled to walk the red carpet at the film festival this year. She walked the red carpet as the brand ambassador of the cosmetic brand L'Oreal.

In another post, she wrote: "Someone once said 'The only thing that will be left after a nuclear holocaust is Cher and cockroaches.' I think that's amusing, because, you know, I am a survivor. It will happen in the future for sure".

Talking about the criticism that Priyanka Chopra faced regarding her outfit at Met Gala where she also made her presence, Deepika said: "I do not think I am expert enough to comment on others dress. Fashion icon, art icon, psychedelic". She chose to wear a risque custom made jade gown from Brandon Maxwell Fall/Winter 2017 collection to attend the screening of 'Loveless (Nelyubov)' at Palais des Festival on Thursday, May 18.

"It would have been nice if we had some Indian films".
