19 May, 2017, 05:45
For those who are not aware, DxO is the brand behind the popular photography benchmark, DxOMark.
OnePlus goes onto claim that this partnership is good news for those planning on picking up the OnePlus 5, which it says will be "be capable of capturing some of the clearest photos around". How exactly the two companies plan on doing this is anyone's guess at this point, as the Chinese manufacturer did not share any specific info.
DxO has lots of experience "and expertise, both for professional cameras and for smartphones", the company said.
In addition, the OnePlus 5 will likely offer a dual camera, which is one of the biggest missing features of the Galaxy S8.
First, the company OnePlus announced their collaboration with the developers of DxO.

Like it has been long rumoured, the next flagship from OnePlus would come with a dual camera setup on the back and this image shows one. Previously, the Google Pixel held that title. Having that in mind, the OnePlus 5 leaked a number of times thus far, various renders and prototypedevices surfaced, and yet, we're still not entirely sure what will the phone like.
OnePlus really wants to hit the nail on the head when it comes to their upcoming OnePlus 5's camera set.
The OnePlus 5 will probably sport a 5.5-inch fullHD or QHD AMOLED display, along with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and chances are that several storage variants will become available.
Other rumors surrounding the OnePlus 5 suggest it'll run on the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor that the Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphones are now using.
