West Brom will pull out of Taylor deal rather than face tribunal

However, Baggies boss Tony Pulis is not willing to take the risk of going to a tribunal to sign the defender.

Hay believes that the club do not expect Taylor to sign a new deal but they have made the offer so that they receive compensation, due to his age.

Taylor, who is out of contract in the summer, has reportedly attracted interest from Premier League clubs and was labelled as "naive" by Monk after refusing to play against Wigan earlier this month.

Head coach Garry Monk had meant to field Taylor in that fixture but Taylor refused to take part, informing Monk that he had been advised not to risk his fitness ahead of a summer transfer.

Leeds United have revealed on their official website that they have offered a new deal to contract rebel Charlie Taylor.

The 'Avril Lavigne is dead' conspiracy is back again
Yesterday, the blonde star posted a sweet snap of her with her mom for Mother's Day. "The jig is up Melissa". Avril Lavigne's death theory is once again making the rounds online, thanks to another Twitter user.

West Brom want to negotiate a fee with Leeds to avoid the possibility of an unexpected bill down the line and it has been reported that they have offered £3.5million for the player.

Pulis said: "A tribunal could put an extraordinary amount of money on it and you're stuck with it". It's a risk that, at this moment, is not worth taking'.

"The club can also confirm that Charlie Taylor has been offered a new two-year contract".

Elsewhere, Pablo Hernandez's contract has been automatically renewed for another season but six players, including Jordan Botaka and Ross Turnbull, have been released.
