Rita Ora is doing all she can to help those who were caught up in the Grenfell Tower blaze in London by handing out food and water supplies.

Rita was left "devastated" when she found out 12 people were killed and several injured after a fire inside the apartment building.

"This is my neighbourhood I can't believe this is happening", she wrote on Instagram. "My prayers are with everybody involved my heart is beating so fast".

'I used to play in that block - I want to do all I can do to help'.

The fire swept through the 27-storey tower block in just 15 minutes after a faulty fridge exploded, in what could be one of the worst in British history amid fears nobody on its top three floors survived.

It is no surprise Ora has been emotionally touched by the tragedy as she grew up in west London on Portobello Road near to the Grenfell Tower block.

"Shocked and devastated to hear this awful news".

FourMee said the singer's husband Simon Konecki was with her.

The 26-year-old singer followed up with multiple videos of herself sorting through the copious amount of bags full of donations that had been left by generous members of the public.

One Twitter user who spotted the "Hello" singer at the scene of the fire managed to grab the picture above and revealed that Adele was asking anyone if they needed any help.

Adele "was going around and hugging everyone she could to comfort them" according to a fan account, showing up in person instead of tweeting about the incident. Respect to both of you.
