Vampyr Ready to Drain Away Your Free Time Beginning in November 2017

Vampyr's new trailer proves you can suck and be powerful Dontnod's Vampyr Releasing in November, E3 2017 Trailer Full of Murder

While the game shows off over 3 minutes of footage from the game, the trailer's description also reveals that the game is set to launch this November. While this new preview doesn't offer any glimpses into Vampyr's still mysterious gameplay, it does afford us a look at the highly cinematic - and very dark - London setting that those who choose to take a chance on the game will inhabit. In a disorganized and ghostly city, those foolish, desperate, or unlucky enough to walk the streets lay prey to Britain's most elusive predators: the vampires. Your quest of intuition, discoveries, and struggles will be filled with death and drama as you attempt to stem the irrepressible thirst that constantly drives you to take human lives. The game stars a vampire named Jonathan, who stalks the streets of a flu-infested London, fighting off monster hunters and feeding on the living in order to survive. Use your unholy powers to manipulate and delve into the lives of those around you - but be prepared to live with the consequences of your actions.

The lack of new gameplay footage in Vampyr's E3 2017 trailer may make some fans anxious that the game will fail to deliver on its promises. A web of interconnected citizens with unique lives and relationships react to your decisions, and killing just one may cause the downfall of an entire city district.

Vampyr is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One in November of 2017. The game's site says that your actions will either save or doom London, so maybe we'll see that players have the chance to go full vampire bad boy if they want and create a London overrun with the vampire menace. An exact release date hasn't been announced, but it's possible that we could learn that at E3 next week.
