Sanchez is stalling on signing a new contract at Arsenal, with reports suggesting several top European clubs have shown interest in acquiring his services.

Despite the fact that heads should have rolled for letting our most coveted players run down their contracts, if true and PSG are preparing to offer £70m for Sanchez, it will present Arsenal and its fans with a tricky dilemma.

Matic, Dier, Perisic or Aurier - who should be Man Utd's transfer priority?

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has this afternoon given his thoughts on the growing links between Alexis Sanchez and French giants PSG.

Celtic, Legia Warsaw and Salzburg ease through in Champions League
CELTIC fans can not believe Leigh Griffiths has been charged by Uefa for "provoking spectators" against Linfield . The charges against Linfield FC include the throwing of objects onto the pitch and a field invasion by fans.

PSG believed Arsenal's stance might weaken if a foreign club, rather than a direct rival such as Manchester City, were the club bidding.

Speaking today after his side's 3-0 defeat to Chelsea in Beijing, Wenger called the latest Sanchez rumours: 'Only media imagination'.

Sanchez fuelled talk of his departure from Arsenal when he was quoted in Chilean media last weekend, saying he wanted to play Champions League football, which the Gunners will not be able to provide this season.

Neymar, meanwhile, has a release clause of €222m, and will earn a salary in the region of €40m should he leave Barcelona for the club they dumped out of this season's Champions League so spectacularly. As Arsene Wenger is now with the squad in China, we will not hear of any definitive decision until they return, unless Ivan Gazidis makes the trip back on behalf of the Gaffer. I've dreamt about it since I was a kid'.
