During a speech he gave at Suffolk County Community College in NY, on Friday, the President made comments implying that he was in support of unnecessary police force.

The president suggested that officers should hit suspects' heads on the doors of their police cars.

"Please don't be too nice", Trump said to an auditorium full of police officers when placing "thugs into the back of a paddy wagon".

Some individual police departments also issued statements rejecting Trump's advice, as did civil liberties advocates.

"I have to tell you, you know, the laws are so horrendously stacked against us, because for years and years, they've been made to protect the criminal".

When President Trump entered the theater at Suffolk County Community College around 2:15 p.m., the 300 officers in the audience and seated behind him on the stage gave him a standing ovation.

'If you see somebody getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of them, would you?' he said. "If you begin to play judge and jury and allow people to get hurt, through your negligence or through your intentions, you are violating the law and you're no bigger than the people that are out there breaking the law intentionally".

"Managing use of force is one of the most hard challenges faced by law enforcement agencies", stated the International Association of Chiefs of Police, according to Chicago Tribune.

But the bottom line is this: The war against MS-13 is being won, and it's being won despite the Left's Iron Curtain.

Human rights groups and activists immediately condemned Trump's words as well, saying they were particularly troubling at a time when police departments across the country are facing scrutiny for the excessive use of violence. "You can take your hand away, OK?" "And we're backing you 100 percent".

Looking around the crowd of protesters, Mr. Serrano said, "This reinforces my hope that we are going to be able to fight against this president and the machine, and all the hate that's going on". Friday, President Trump pledged to wipe them out.

However, he singled out one Republican official - the only one of the many he recognized from the dais who was not actually in the room.

The president was speaking to police in Long Island, who are dealing with increased gang violence fueled by the local rise of the notorious Latin street gang MS-13.

All but a few of those charged in the deaths were citizens of El Salvador or Honduras who entered the USA illegally, according to law enforcement officials.
