Four young men mysteriously vanish from same area in the space of a week Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub holds

Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub says they are combing over the 90-plus acre property.

DiNardo will be arraigned this afternoon on the theft charge. Snow said later that the bail was the highest she has set for a defendant.

Weintraub believes foul play is involved, but hopes the young men are still alive.

A 20-year-old linked to a Pennsylvania farm at the center of a search for four missing men tried to sell one man's vehicle after he went missing, even as it contained the man's "life-saving" diabetic kit, authorities announced Wednesday.

Of the four #missing men, Newtown Township Police Department said Patrick was reported missing on Thursday after he didn't turn up at work and had no contact with either his family or friends since 6 p.m.

"We're going to continue digging and searching that property until we're satisfied that they are not there", Weintraub said earlier in the day.

In an unrelated matter, DiNardo was charged Monday with possession of a firearm in Bensalem Township.

"Slow and steady. This is a marathon, not a sprint", said the district attorney.

Fox 29 reports a auto belonging to Sturgis was found on Monday morning, although this has not been confirmed by authorities.

Newtown Township, Plumstead Township, Middletown Township Police and state police are all involved in the joint investigation, Bucks County Assistant District Attorney Gregg Shore told ABC Philadelphia station WPVI-TV.

"We have not recovered any human remains to this point", he told reporters. "That's what we're dealing with here", he said. "We're committed to seeing this through to the end, regardless of what it's going to take".

Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub said officials from at least five municipal police departments, the Pennsylvania State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have been searching farmland in Solebury Township for any trace of the four men, identified as Jimi Tar Patrick, 19, of Newtown; Mark Sturgis, 22, of Pennsburg; Dean Finocchiaro, 18, of Middletown; and Tom Meo, 21, of Plumstead. Patrick has been missing since July 5; the others since July 7.

"This investigation is still wide open", Weintraub said. It is not known where DiNardo went after being released from the Bucks County jail, as he did not return his family's home in Bensalem. On Tuesday, Mr. DiNardo's lawyer, Michael Parlow, was not immediately available to answer a telephone message.

Cosmo DiNardo was freed after posting 10% of a $1m (£775,000) bail.

His family owns the property where investigators are searching for the men. At the Tuesday morning press conference, Weintraub cautioned against false reports, calling a report from Monday that bodies were found "simply not accurate". But Weintraub called him a person of interest, not a suspect.

SOLEBURY TWP, PA Cosmo DiNardo has been identified by authorities as a "person of interest" in the disappearance of four men.

While the charge was dropped in February, authorities have refiled the charge on Monday. But Weintraub on Tuesday said DiNardo is a person of interest and cited "obvious links" - such as the extensive search of a Solebury property owned by DiNardo's parents, Antonio and Sandra DiNardo.

Weintraub said in a press conference on Wednesday that investigators had uncovered important evidence.

He said: 'The leads are incredibly hot, they're very fruitful. The U.S. Marshal, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, police forces all across the county and other counties have now taken part in this.

"We have people combing the entire county working on this case and the amount of manpower that we've deployed just at this property is mind-boggling", Weiintraub said. He said the search of the site was a painstaking process, using cadaver dogs, heavy construction equipment, including a backhoe, and careful examination of the land "not to miss the tiniest piece of evidence".
