The host had no idea the steamy clip was being watched behind her - and the colleague with his headphones in clearly did not realise 3.8m people could see his screen.

Except for Anna Paquin, who recognized herself immediately.

Now, the actress has branded the awkward incident "hilarious", taking to Twitter to say: "My breasts!".

While many commentators believed the footage was porn, it was actually one of Anna's True Blood sex scenes with co-star Robert Kazinsky.

"My breasts! So amusing on so many levels", she tweeted along with a news report about the incident yesterday.

"Now that I know what you guys were talking about this some of the funniest s**t I've seen in a while", she told her 182,000 followers, adding: "Thanks for the giggle!"

BBC say they're looking into the matter.

News reader Sophie Raworth was reporting on cricket when the scene was aired. What's there to look into my tits photobombed the news because someone was watching #trueblood in view of camera'.

Paquin immediately saw the humor in the situation, calling it "objectively funny", and her former fellow cast members, including Evan Rachel Wood, scene-in-question partner Robert Kazinsky, and husband Stephen Moyer joined in for the laugh.

Paquin and Moyer, 47, played Sookie Stackhouse and Bill Compton, respectively, on the series, which ran for seven seasons from 2008 to 2014.
