Homicide Unit detectives from the Prince George's County Police Department arrested and charged a suspect for the murder of three young girls at a home in Clinton on Friday, August 18, 2017.

Around 7:37 a.m., 911 dispatchers received a call after an adult family member entered the home and founds the girls dead, said Jennifer Donelan, director of the media relations division for the Prince George's County Police Department.

The other victims are 9-year-old Ariana Decree and 6-year-old Ajayah Decree, of Newark, New Jersey.

Williams has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of second-degree murder, Mail Online reports.

First responders pronounced all three of the girls dead on the scene.

Patel said police are interviewing family members.

Late Friday night, investigators announced 25-year-old Antonio Williams had been arrested in connection to the three girls' deaths.

The scene was heartbreaking to police; counseling services are being offered to those who responded to the home.

She said the girls had suffered trauma to their bodies, adding: "This is a homicide".

"We are presently amidst a noteworthy examination concerning what happened to these kids, who executed them", Donelan said.

Jennifer Donelan, a spokeswoman for Prince George's County police, said: "This is one of the most hard that our officers have arrived on".

"We all feel this loss", Velez said.

It is not known if the public assurances that police believe this crime is confined to this one residence did much to calm the concerns of parents in the area, as the suspect or suspects are still at large.

She said people in Prince George's County had again woken up to another nightmare.

Police tweeted earlier Friday morning they were "committed to make arrest & determine motive".
