Katie Price has branded Ben Stokes "disgusting" after a video of the England cricketer poking fun at her disabled son emerged.

"Hello you c***", the son of former Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke had said.

And his latest muck up will certainly hurt his case after Stokes was filmed imitating Harvey Price, the 15-year-old son of United Kingdom model Katie Price, who suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome.

"Harvey what do you say when people are being mean?" he asked in a faked accent, staring into the camera.

Stokes' "disgusting" impressions come after his arrest following a brawl outside a Bristol nightclub in the early hours of Monday.

"Hello you c***", Stokes adds.

"She's got no idea who Ben Stokes is, and she's never met him, so it's outrageous that he would want to ridicule her son like this", the paper quotes a friend of the mother.

Whether that strategy will be seen as a critical step on the path toward independence, or a step back, only time will tell. Polls indicate that a vote for independence is by no means certain - the region is split equally in favor and against.

The England and Wales Cricket Board, after seeing video footage obtained by The Sun newspaper which allegedly shows Stokes throwing punches in a street fight, said neither man would be considered for selection until further notice.

Stokes, who was held overnight and released under investigation late on Monday, and Hales were also dropped from the fourth ODI of the ongoing four-match series against West Indies.

Opening batsman Alex Hales, who was with Stokes on Sunday after playing alongside him during a win over West Indies in the third one-day worldwide in Bristol, has also been suspended from England global selection.

"Andrew Strauss, director of England cricket, will today refer the internal disciplinary procedure for these two players to the Cricket Discipline Commission, chaired by Tim O'Gorman".

And for Roland-Jones, who made his England Test debut this summer and so has been privy to a dressing-room culture that encourages the players to take responsibility for themselves on and off the field, the Stokes incident is a warning of how quickly events can escalate if players are not on their guard at all times.

"It's right up - it's probably in the top two (in my career), I would have thought", said Bayliss.

Hales missed Wednesday's game after voluntarily returning to Bristol to assist police investigations.
