Multiple Browns players take a knee ahead of game against the Colts

Cleveland Browns quarterback De Shone Kizer warms up before an NFL football game against the Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore Sunday Sept. 17 2017 DeShone Kizer to Trump: 'I know for a fact I'm no SOB'

Brissett's second rushing touchdown of the game gave the Colts a 14-7 lead over the Browns with 10:06 to play in the first half. If the Browns really are better, if they really are ready to make the always hard jump from being the worst team in the league to ONE OF the worst teams in the league, there should be some signs evident in the team's play in the next three games.

These injuries have left Indianapolis' two-deep severely depleted for a must-win game, and it's possible that a couple of other names could be added to that lengthy Colts injury report before the game kicks off this weekend. The 2017 second-round pick has struggled early on with four interceptions, nine sacks and a 57.4 percent completion percentage.

Garrett suffered a high ankle sprain days before the Browns' season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and while he has made "huge progress" in the past week or so - ditching a protective walking boot - Jackson this week was reluctant to say Garrett would play against the Colts.

-Outside of Jack Doyle, the Colts' pass catchers did not come to the aid of Jacoby Brissett in Week Two. The rookie QB finished the day with 4 turnovers including three interceptions. Donte Moncrief is the one to watch with this group, as he had just two catches in eight targets in last week's overtime loss. These are Andrew Luck (QB), Marlon Mack (RB), Chester Rogers (WR), Ryan Kelly (C), Anthony Walker (ILB), and Quincy Wilson (CB). Each phase of the game was at fault for the Colts last week, including five penalties in the game's final quarter. Leading to such a notion, both players are practicing on Friday. Burgess has just three tackles, a sack and a pass defensed in his two weeks as a backup in Cleveland.

- The Browns will have to remain cognizant of rookie safety Malik Hooker's whereabouts Sunday.

-The chatter surrounding the future of Chuck Pagano in Indianapolis will grow even louder on Sunday if the Colts lose to the Browns.

It's not every day that you see the Cleveland Browns favored in an National Football League game. The last time the Browns were road favorites was on December 2, 2012, at Oakland where they were favored by 1 point.

The Colts played much better against the Arizona Cardinals this past Sunday, but they still couldn't walk away with a win at home.

Three consecutive games against three teams that at this moment are winless is about as good as it can get for a team that needs to get it as good as it can right now. This is the fourth straight season that Indianapolis has avoided falling to 0-3.
