Officers tackled 21-year-old Yahyah Farroukh to the ground at Aladdins Fried Chicken in west London, according to an eyewitness.

The bombing, which left 29 people injured, was Britain's fifth terror attack in six months and was claimed by ISIS.

British police are searching a home in the London suburb of Stanwell linked to the arrest of the second suspect in the subway bombing.

Home Secretary Amber Rudd said police had made "good progress" in the investigation and urged "everybody to continue to be vigilant but not alarmed".

She said the press office would not ordinarily provide this detail on a live investigation.

The 18-year-old man was detained on Saturday morning in the departure area of Dover ferry port, which is the busiest ferry hub in Europe and a gateway to the French coast.

The raid was carried out by the Metropolitan Police Counter Terrorism Command, assisted by Gwent Police and the Welsh Extremism and Counter Terrorism Unit (WECTU) and an address in the town was being searched on Tuesday night.

The Metropolitan Police arrested a 48-year-old man and a 30-year-old man in Wales this morning following the arrest of a 25-year-old man yesterday, law enforcement said on Wednesday.

The two men, aged 18 and 21, are being questioned after an explosive device detonated on a train in southwest London on Friday, Sept. 15, injuring 30 people. Police have set metal screens around the Jones' house.

To 07h50 Saturday, police arrested an 18 year old man for his alleged involvement in "the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism", he said.

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley, National Lead for Counter Terrorism Policing provided an update on the Parsons Green Investigation and the threat level to the United Kingdom from worldwide terrorism being reduced from critical to severe, he said:"The high pace and rapid progress of this investigation is continuing".

In the aftermath, the authorities raised Britain's threat level to its highest rank of critical, meaning an attack was considered imminent, but lowered this after arresting two men on Saturday. This operation has allowed the police to put the hand on "multiple objects", while the suspect has been transferred to a police station in London, has detailed Neil Basu.
