I have been absent from contributing to the CBS Blog Poll in the last weeks of the season, so to start 2010 off I am here to provide my final ballot for the CBS Blog Poll Top 25.
Let us break down my Top …
Well, the regular season is now completely behind us (fine, there’s still Army-Navy, but as far as meaningful regular season games go, we’re through), and it’s been a pretty entertaining season. The one thing we were lacking, though, was the big upset.
The SEC Sucks: Okay, that’s a stretch, but The SEC is Incredibly Top Heavily and Lacking in Depth didn’t have the same ring to it. After Florida and Alabama, there isn’t another really good team in the whole conference. You’ll notice we have LSU down at 21, and while they’re #13 in the BCS rankings, they don’t even come close to passing the eye-test.
Say what you will about this week’s lineup of marquee rivalry games: Alabama-Auburn, Florida-Florida State, Oklahoma-Oklahoma State and Pitt-West Virginia are just a handful of the bad-blood matchups slated to be renewed on Saturday
